On July 6, 2017, the New York Mortgage Coalition was awarded $453,476 in housing counseling grants from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This funding supports housing counseling services at New York Mortgage Coalition's 11 sub-grantees in New York and Connecticut. NYMC's intermediary network served over 8000 clients in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2016. HUD awarded over $50 million in grants to local, regional, and national organizations to provide housing counseling services.
