
Last month, the New York Mortgage Coalition launched our partnership with eHome America to bring online homebuyer education to our network of housing counseling agencies. This online learning opportunity supplements the schedule of our members’ workshops for first time homebuyers.

Chhaya’s Renter’s Rights and Benefits Workshop will be held Tuesday, April 21 at 6:00-8:00 pm at 37-43 77th Street, 2nd Floor, Jackson Heights. Attend Chhaya’s next workshop for renters to learn more about your rights and benefits. HCCI’s 13th Annual “Let Us Break Bread Together” Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 23 at Marina del Ray in Throgs Neck. Housing Action Council’s three-part First Home Club workshop begins on April 15 with “The Financial Aspects of Home Ownership.” The workshop will be held at 55 South Broadway, 2nd Floor, Tarrytown at 6:30-9:30 PM. Neighbors Helping Neighbors’ April homebuyer workshop runs for two sessions on Saturday, April 11 and Saturday, April 18, at 9:30am-1:30pm. To RSVP, please print the registration form and return it to their office along with $35 per person (payable as a money order to ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors’) before the seminar.
